I’m reminiscing today and looked up Slone’s Pine Cone Lodge. My parents took my sister and I, alone with another family on vacation. I was 4 years old so that was 1951 and today I’m 72. It was absolutely wonderful to find out Sloan’s is still open. The original picture of the lodge was how I remember the grounds. Maybe someday I’ll be able to come for another visit.
