Hi my name is sandy balsimo I was reading a news paper story on the drowning of my father and 3 other family members in 1961 in Lake Miltona and I noticed your resort was the search headquarters and I was wondering if there was any info found through the years regarding this incident that may be of interest to my family

From 1959 until 1975, until the Resort was sold off, we spent a week every summer at Stoddens Resort in Minnesota, on Lake Miltona.
I am, was very familiar with the Johnson family, the owners. I especially remember the three sons, the oldest two worked with their folks, while Russ, was just young and hung out. Again wonderful memories.
Hi Kim – My name is Warren Larsen – Our mom and dad used to bring us to Lake Miltona every summer in the late 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s. I am trying to find the name of the resort we always went to as I can’t find it in any of mom’s or Grandma’s (yet) writings. Do you happen to have records or a registry of visitors from any of those years? Can you please reach out to me via email? We were/are from Des Moines Iowa. We also had a great Aunt who had a cabin up here.

My great aunt and uncle owned the Stodden Resort. Their names were Robert and Donna Johnson. Donna is 94 years old. Robert died in 1993. I talked to Donna Johnson today on the telephone.
