Hello,
We came across a picture of Bar Harbor circa 1938, very cool. It got us thinking about our old cabin which my parents purchased in 1977 that was part of the Dellwood resort. My Wife and I still own the property. I googled the Dellwood resort on Gull Lake and it took me to your website. We’d love to hear and see more of the history of Gull Lake and more specifically the Dellwood resort.
Thank you,
Steve and Roxie Koch
Hello,
I used to go to Gull Lake back in the 60s and I think the store at Dellwood was called Jensens? Is that right.
We had a log cabin down the road owned by Ray & Espe Cummins. I remember we were next door to the McClurgs (spelling ?) on our left.
Nothing but precious memories about Dellwood Resort. This was home to me from the late 50’s through the mid 60’s. My grandparents Jack and Clara Woolley owned and operated Dellwood Resort unitl the mid 60’s. I miss this area beyond belief!
